Originally published by Delacorte, Mind-Reach is the book that led to the U. S. Army’s psychic spy program and the subsequent prominence of remote viewing. The protocols that physicists Targ and Puthoff developed at the Stanford Research Institute are still in use today and have proven again and again in laboratory settings that psychic ability is universal. Targ is the author of three recent books with New World Library: Limitless Mind, The Heart of the Mind, and Miracles of Mind. Mind-Reach is the eleventh title in Hampton Roads’ Studies in Consciousness series.

Limitless Mind Book PDF/Epub Download

The psychic abilities of most humans are dampened by the clatter of our conscious minds. In this timely book, Russell Targ shows readers how to quiet this noise and see into the far reaches of time and space through remote viewing. He also illuminates the phenomena of intuitive medical diagnosis and distant healing in a groundbreaking synthesis of research and empirical data. Drawing on a broad range of spiritual traditions, Targ demonstrates that these psychic abilities offer a path of self-inquiry and self-realization and have the power to expand each person’s limited awareness into the consciousness shared by all beings. Targ explores the scientific and spiritual implications of remote viewing, as well as offering practical techniques and exercises to nurture this universally available but often untapped skill.

A Lean Mind Book PDF/Epub Download

The concept of ‘lean’ is something Ozan Kulcu has used intensively in his work as an engineer and he believes that it has enormous power to increase the efficiency. In ‘A Lean Mind’, Kulcu gives an approach of how the concept of ‘lean’ can transform the mind. When the mind becomes lean, it runs free of each brick attached to it, bricks ranging from harmful core beliefs to useless thoughts. The mind becomes ordered and clean, it runs more efficiently, and it enables us to reach our true potential - one that we never recognized before. The lean mind is a mind that is free of distraction. It is a mind that filters out the background noise. It is a mind where everything that matters is ordered nicely for us to reach anytime. It is also the mind where we know exactly what emotions and belief patterns we have, and we know exactly how to shift our mental state to use more of its potential. ‘A Lean Mind’ is full of ideas that enable this lean approach to unleash the true potential of the mind. It is a deep dive into our own minds, the universe, and life in general. 'A Lean Mind' focuses on: Embracing our position in the universe Seperating what actually matters from noise Recognizing our perception of life Understanding the mind process Digging deep into the emotional zones and emotions and how to shift the mental state Understanding mind-body feedback system Understanding perception in interactions Understanding the lean approach to manage the mind process Becoming aware of the mind and the body Embracing the presence of our soul Understanding the importance of balance in the universe and in the mind From Back Cover What is the difference between the sunrise of today and the sunrise of tomorrow? Why does the same sunrise with same shape, size, and warmth give us different feelings sometimes? What makes the differences each day? What we feel everytime we see the sunrise depends on what emotions are in the mind at that moment, not at the sunrise. And these emotions make the differences of the day. The emotional state of mind, linked to certain core beliefs, are the main raw materials of this manufacturing plant called 'the mind'. They produce thoughts night and day, and eventually lead to actions. Everything we experience in life is a product of this mind process. The mind makes the difference between the sunrise of today and sunrise of tomorrow. We are stuck with our minds for the rest of our lives. Therefore, a mind is worth managing. A lean mind has the power to transform a sunrise into limitless amount of possibilities. We just need to know how it works and how to improve the processes. 'A Lean Mind' is a deep dive into how our minds work, how to understand it better, and how to improve the processes to reach a balanced state of mind. As everything we experience is a product of the mind, this balanced state of mind will unleash the potential of life for us.

Can t Hurt Me Book PDF/Epub Download

New York Times Bestseller Over 2.5 million copies sold For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare -- poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a U.S. Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events, inspiring Outside magazine to name him "The Fittest (Real) Man in America." In Can't Hurt Me, he shares his astonishing life story and reveals that most of us tap into only 40% of our capabilities. Goggins calls this The 40% Rule, and his story illuminates a path that anyone can follow to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential.

The Branding of the American Mind Book PDF/Epub Download

The first real exposé of how universities have trademarked, copyrighted, branded, and patented everything they do. Universities generate an enormous amount of intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, Internet domain names, and even trade secrets. Until recently, universities often ceded ownership of this property to the faculty member or student who created or discovered it in the course of their research. Increasingly, though, universities have become protective of this property, claiming it for their own use and licensing it as a revenue source instead of allowing it to remain in the public sphere. Many universities now behave like private corporations, suing to protect trademarked sports logos, patents, and name brands. Yet how can private rights accumulation and enforcement further the public interest in higher education? What is to be gained and lost as institutions become more guarded and contentious in their orientation toward intellectual property? In this pioneering book, law professor Jacob H. Rooksby uses a mixture of qualitative, quantitative, and legal research methods to grapple with those central questions, exposing and critiquing the industry’s unquestioned and growing embrace of intellectual property from the perspective of research in law, higher education, and the social sciences. While knowledge creation and dissemination have a long history in higher education, using intellectual property as a vehicle for rights staking and enforcement is a relatively new and, as Rooksby argues, dangerous phenomenon for the sector. The Branding of the American Mind points to higher education’s love affair with intellectual property itself, in all its dimensions, including newer forms that are less tied to scholarly output. The result is an unwelcome assault on the public’s interest in higher education. Presuming no background knowledge of intellectual property, and ending with a call to action, The Branding of the American Mind explores applicable laws, legal regimes, and precedent in plain English, making the book appealing to anyone concerned for the future of higher education.
